I couldn't have said it any better than you regarding the Deaf parents having Hearing children... I'm going to copy and paste from my previous post on another blog regarding "abuse". *I would like to share my feelings about another issue but the basic underlying point about "abuse" is almost the same as discussed here. Me Deaf. Both mother and brother Deaf. Generations of Deafness. But bam...!! Two Hearing children. Only one can imagine how heartbroken I was in the beginning. (I'm so over it now.) But to point out I've been viewed as an "abusive mother" for requesting where I can take my kids in to "fix" their hearing to be Deaf. Sheesh!!! You can't fatham the looks "they" give me. I try to reason with them that currently Deaf children are being "fixed" with CI's so why can't I do this with mine doing just the opposite!!!!! While there they would subject me to issues having to deal with choosing the appropriate school that has an oral and speech program. I, naturally, cringed!! "Sir, my kids, without a doubt, will be exposed to the kind of communication I was exposed to and none of that involves with any of your oralism mumbo jumbo so don't waste your time trying to educate me something I already know!" *
Like you, I have two beautiful children. They're older now and have adapted well with two worlds. Hopefully, there would be a way to see why one way is acceptable and the other way isn't. Great Vlog..thanks for doing this! Smile.

WOW! this is serious about idea of principle. why not u give speech to hearing people get idea same feel way if they don't want hearing baby remove hearing SAME idea what deaf people don't like if deaf baby so make them CI u are right and u have GREAT point. maybe that will change the world? who know? i will take ur advice idea about principle same idea. and i think u should use that discuss about principle in THROUGH DEAF EYE! it's good topic so u can advice hearing people get idea what through deaf eye different than hearing not ever think about it CI is not normal, because it's sound like hearing want doc fix deaf children to be hearing world but my opinion i think they sound want make their children be ROBOT! the reason doc fix with TOOL same thing robot program so they SHOULD know better. i will accept my future babies no matter what but as long as it's health as can breath, heart beat u know. but HEARING, SEEING, TASTING, FEELING, SMELLING is just a damn 5 senses not hurt to lost one still have 4 sense so what?! i will be happy if they are health. so i glad u sharing ur idea about principle. keep up with ur videoclips.
